Varitronix LCD Kit Description:
Fully integrated LCD controller board supporting Varitronix LCD displays. This controller board features the GEM Graphical OS Chip™ for color displays. Using Amulet’s embedded GUI design software, GEMstudio™, user interfaces can be quickly and easily developed to support a variety of embedded applications. These boards can drive 24-bit color, plus 8-bit alpha blending (transparency channel) to drive graphics found in high-end, smart-phone like consumer products or other embedded systems applications. Note that the combination of a Varitronix display and Amulet LCD evaluator kit effectively works as a fully integrated LCD module for easy GUI evaluation.
