Amulet color modules are production ready GUI solutions that can significantly reduce time-to-market and initial project resource requirements for embedded product manufacturers.  Compatible with GEMstudio™, Amulet modules can be easily programed with smartphone-like Graphical User Interfaces which can be effortlessly updated and modified. With an installed base that expands across many different countries and industries, Amulet GEMmodules™ are proven to be an effective solution for a growing number of embedded product manufacturers around the world.

Amulet offloads all of the GUI functions from the host processor, allowing any embedded product, including legacy products running 8-bit microprocessors, to get a color makeover for a more contemporary look and feel.

Amulet Resistive 7" GEMmodule™

(MK-070R) This fully integrated 7" production ready solution allows embedded product manufacturers to implement a great looking GUI in record time, regardless of the size and speed of their microprocessor.  Featuring the Amulet GEM Graphical OS Chip™ for color displays, the module supports GIF, JPEG and PNG graphic formats in 24-bit color. We recommend staying within an 8-bit palette for best performance for certain applications. The module includes a 800X480 TFT LCD with white LED backlight, integrated resistive touch panel and a 64 megabit serial flash for storing GUI pages. In addition, the backlight can be controlled via the touch panel.

Amulet Capacitive 4.3" GEMmodule™

(MK-CY-043, MK-CY-043MT) These are a fully integrated drop-in solutions that allow customers to implement a Graphical User Interface with a smartphone-like look and feel at record time-to-market.  These modules can be programmed using GEMstudio™, the easiest, fastest and most flexible GUI design software tool in the embedded space. The WQVGA (480x272) TFT LCD  module with integrated projected capacitive touch panel Cypress TrueTouch® controller technology supports multitouch gestures with superior accuracy - highest signal to noise ratio (SNR). Amulet's color display modules are ready for production with an integrated Amulet GEM Graphical OS Chip and all the needed parts to drive the display. This fully integrated, drop-in solution is ideal for OEMs when time to market is crucial.

Amulet Resistive 4.3" GEMmodule™

(MK-480272C) This fully integrated 4.3" WQVGA production color display module supports a variety of embedded control interface applications. Featuring the Amulet GEM Graphical OS Chip™ for color displays, the module supports GIF, JPEG and PNG graphic formats in 24-bit color, plus 8-bit alpha blending found in high-end consumer electronic products. The module includes a 480x272 TFT LCD with a 16:9 aspect ratio, white LED backlight, integrated resistive touch panel and a 32 megabit serial flash for storing GUI pages. In addition, the backlight can be controlled via the touch panel.
